Sallie Miller, from Briggsdale, CO, is a partner in Croissant Red Angus with her husband, Kevin, and parents Larry & Jean Croissant and also works full time as an underwriter for American AgCredit, a member of the Farm Credit System. Kevin & Sallie have 1 daughter, Alisa, that is also active on the ranch when not participating in high school activities, namely volleyball and basketball. Croissant Red Angus raises approx. 280 calves annually, focusing on developing bulls for use in commercial herds located in the arid high plains. Sallie served as the CO CattleWomen president for 2 years, on the CO Beef Council Authority for 8 and as NCBA Region V Federation VP for 3 years. Finishing up those positions, she has recently been appointed to the board of directors for the Colorado Foundation for Ag. During non-work hours Sallie can be found spending time with family, helping on the ranch, or participating in CattleWomen events to help educate people about agriculture and beef production.
