Diane and her husband Reid own a dairy operation, Brook-Corner Holsteins, and the Hoovers are members of the Pennsylvania Holstein Association and the National Holstein Association. Their milking herd consists of 350 registered Holstein cows. Diane served on the Pennsylvania Beef Council from 2010 to 2016, including a term as the organization’s chair in 2015. She has been a member of the Lebanon County Dairy Promotion Committee since 1982 and served as its chair numerous times over the past three decades. She is currently serving as a co-chair for the 2020 National Holstein Convention, and she’s also a member of the American Dairy Association Northeast (ADANE) speakers bureau.
