Position: Senior Director of Organizational Communications
Sarah Metzler has led producer communications for the Cattlemen’s Beef Board and the Beef Checkoff since 2018, bringing a wealth of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, writing, community outreach, and team building to the organization. Her career spans private industry, city and county government, media, the performing and visual arts, education, and the nonprofit sector. Before joining CBB, she owned and operated her own marketing and communications consulting company, serving clients across diverse industries.
A family of fifth-generation wheat and milo farmers and cattle ranchers, Sarah was born and raised in Yuma, Colorado, and spent part of her childhood in Alaska’s agricultural region. She returned to Colorado in 1998 after graduating from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Today, she and her husband, Bob, make their home in Littleton, Colorado, with their four children.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys tending her gardens, hunting for treasures in vintage bookstores, restoring old furniture, savoring the best of Scotch whisky, and pursuing any project that lets her get her hands dirty.
