A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Mike manages the feedlot for his wife’s Illinois family farm, Larson Farms Partnership, which markets about 7,000 head of cattle annually and hosts tours for farm groups, urban moms, bloggers, influencers, and media. He is a member of Farm Bureau, NCBA, DeKalb County Soil and Water Board, and his state and local cattlemen’s association. He has also served in leadership roles for the Illinois Beef Assoc., Illinois Beef Checkoff, Illinois Livestock Committee, and Illinois State Fair Advisory Board.
