Marsha and her husband, Dennis, run Shoemaker Cattle Company, a commercial cow/calf and yearling stocker operation in Bellevue, Texas, and she also works for an agricultural engineering consulting firm. She is an active member of Texas CattleWomen, American National CattleWomen, Farm Bureau, NCBA, Texas Cattlemen’s Assoc., Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers, American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, and has served on the Texas Beef Council and Federation of State Beef Councils.
