Kathy worked more than 30 years as a registered nurse, and is also co-owner of a multigenerational seedstock, cow/calf, and backgrounding ranch in North Dakota. She has served in leadership roles in the ND Angus Assoc. and ND CattleWomen, and participated in the NCBA Young Cattlemen’s Conference and King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management’s Excellence in Ag Leadership Program. In 2023, she was honored as American National CattleWomen’s Outstanding Educator of the Year.
