Allen grew up in Washington, where his family has run Tower Rock Ranch since 1883. He earned a degree in agriculture from Washington State University before returning to the ranch, where he is a co-owner with his sister. Allen is active in his state and local cattlemen’s associations, the Foster Creek Conservation District, and the state’s departments of natural resources and fish and wildlife. In 2023, Tower Rock Ranch received the Washington State Beef Commission’s Environmental Stewardship Award.
