Beef Checkoff at NAFB

Next week, Cattlemen's Beef Board Chair Kim Brackett and checkoff Executive Chef Dave Zino will join the National Association of Farm Broadcasters (NAFB) in Kansas City for its annual Trade Talk convention and tradeshow. Zino will be talking about “Lean Matters”. Today’s beef is leaner than ever due in part to production practices and post-harvest trimming. It is a win/win for the rancher and the consumer. Brackett will be on hand to discuss the Return on Investment (ROI) study, as well as specific checkoff-program achievements. She will also discuss the FY15 checkoff plan of work. Watch for more details after the show!
