Tammy is currently teaching agriculture and serving as an FFA Advisor in the state of Kansas. She retired after 30 years in education from the state of Missouri in 2014. She held leadership positions in the Missouri Agricultural Education Teachers Assoc., where she served as President in 2002-2003 and was State Legislative Chair for MVATA and MO Assoc. for Career and Technical Education. She was recognized by the University of MO with the Outstanding High School Animal Science Educator Award in 2012 and Missouri State Fair Women in Agriculture recipient in 2014. Tammy has two daughters. The family has a small herd of registered Angus cattle and are members of the American Angus and Missouri Angus Associations. Tammy served as Missouri Angus Auxiliary State President in 2013-14, and served a three year term as Missouri Junior Angus Association advisor.
