Jim is a fifth-generation cattleman whose ancestors emigrated from Germany to Nebraska in the 1800s. In the 1970s, he owned and operated a farm, feedlot, and cow/calf herd. Today, he owns Dinklage Ranch, a custom grazing operation, as well as Dinklage Enterprises, a company that produces livestock microbial feed additives. Jim is a member of Nebraska Cattlemen’s, Sandhills Cattle Assoc., and R-CALF, and holds leadership positions with Independent Cattlemen of Nebraska and EPIC Option.
