Jenni was raised on a cow-calf operation in the Flint Hills of Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agribusiness in 1993. She and her husband Charlie were married and moved to Colorado in 1994, where she started at the National Beef Promotion and Research Board. They started their family as well as their cow herd. In 1997 they moved back to Iowa and have been growing their family as well as their cow herd. Today they own and operate Peters Beef Genetics, a diversified beef operation. They have a commercial cow-calf herd, purebred cows, custom embryos, feedlot and our bred heifer development program. They raise corn, beans, alfalfa and pasture. All four children were involved in the operation growing up. Jenni currently serves on the Iowa Beef Industry Council, Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Council, Faith Formation Committee and she is a 4-H Leader. Our faith and family is what sustains us as we continue to provide food and fiber for our neighbors while taking care of the land and livestock entrusted to us. Leaving them better for the next generation is our goal.
