National Nutrition Month

How exciting is it that BEEF can be a big part of 2014 National Nutrition Month discussions and activities across the country this month?! That might not have been the case 30 years ago. For a little perspective, think about these two facts: External fat in retail cuts of beef has decreased 80 percent in the last 30 years; and a sirloin steak today contains 34 percent less fat than it did then! So we ask you to help "Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right" this month by SHARING the good word about beef and cooking up some lean beef meals in celebration!
