Extending the Tailgating Promo

In an effort to leverage its investment in the 2013 Northeast tailgating promotion this year, the checkoff partnered with Reading, Pennsylvania retailer Redner’s Warehouse Markets and a related Fuel to the Finish promotion. This partnership helped distribute about 1,500 samples of Roast Beef & Veggie Wraps during the two-day Runner’s World Half Marathon and Expo in Bethlehem, Penn., Oct. 18-20. Athletes also received copies of consumer beef recipes from the 2013 fall tailgating retail beef promotion and were encouraged to engage with the Northeast Loves Beef social media pages for a chance to enter to win the fall sweepstakes!
