Addressing Beef-Safety Challenges

The third and final workshop in a series addressing beef safety challenges and dissemination of information to beef processors, last month in Atlanta, focused on important topics including testing technologies and strategies, HACCP plan updates, Salmonella and STECs, and improving performance on Food Safety Assessments. The workshops also included time for discussion about development of resources for beef processors to further improve their beef-safety systems.
