World Food Moscow
The beef checkoff helped feature U.S. beef on the international market at the recent World Food Moscow, which attracted more than 25,000 trade visitors and 1,500 exhibitors, including the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF), a contractor to the Beef Checkoff Program. Interest in U.S. beef among Russian buyers has never been stronger, though access challenges associated with racopamine are a looming threat.
