Japanese Beef Competition

U.S. beef gained international acclaim at the latest International Exhibition of Culinary Art, thanks to the Beef Checkoff Program. A team of Japan's finest chefs used U.S. beef rather than Japanese beef for their presentation at the exhibition in Germany, because the team said "U.S. beef is tender, tasty and juicy with just the right amount of marbling." Japanese companies paid for the team's participation – but the Beef Checkoff Program provided the U.S. beef!
