
Consumer Demand for Ethical Food
Recent marketing studies have found there is a growing number of socially conscious consumers who place more emphasis on ethical food and demand transparency on the part of food producers to demonstrate ethical production. A new study, the Consumer Image Index, is beginning to identify the socially conscious consumer, unravel expectations for this group concerning production practices and document where the industry is perceived to stand in regard to how it produces beef.
