BQA Feedyard Assessment
In 2011, more than 2 million cattle went through feedyards that have conducted a Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Feedyard Assessment. Designed to help feeders benchmark their feedlots in management areas such as animal welfare, cattle handling, and record keeping, this tool can be applied as a self-assessment or conducted by a third-party.
