Training Indonesian Chefs

Thanks, in part, to beef checkoff dollars, chefs in Indonesia recently learned about efficient restaurant operation and the merits of cooking with U.S. beef. A two-day training session co-sponsored by the beef checkoff and the USDA Market Access Program, brought together 14 chefs from Jakarta and other parts of Indonesia for cutting, cooking and tasting demonstrations, foodservice sanitation education, ASEAN food trends and foodservice management, among other topics.
