SuperValu Cutting Demonstration
In a state/national effort, the Beef Checkoff Program recently conducted a beef chuck cutting demonstration for SuperValu and its Ohio-area retail meat managers, on behalf of the Ohio Beef Council. National checkoff research staff took part in a SuperValu training session to present and demonstrate innovative fabrication methods for the beef shoulder clod and chuck roll and to showcase new checkoff-funded beef cuts. The Ohio Beef Council supported the effort by manning a beef booth during the session and highlighting checkoff-funded materials available to support retail beef sales.
