Research At Center Stage
The checkoff is gearing up to participate in the Experimental Biology (EB) Conference April 9-13 in Washington, D.C. This meeting attracts some of the world’s leading life-science researchers and is one of the largest scientific meetings for nutrition scientists. As such, it offers tremendous opportunity for the checkoff to showcase nine scientists to share checkoff-funded research that highlights the healthy content of nutrients and protein in beef. In addition, the checkoff will place an educational ad in the American Society for Nutrition’s daily newsletter at EB to increase awareness of the beef checkoff’s support of nutrition research.
