The checkoff is partnering with Mars Super Markets in the Baltimore, Md. to promote beef throughout March. This partnership, part of the checkoff’s Northeast initiative, features the launch of the beef value cut, “country-style boneless ribs” from the chuck roll and includes display and distribution of recipe cards featuring a crock-pot cooking method for the cut. In addition, recipe cards include a $1 off beef coupon, with redemption paid by Mars. One shopper in each of the 16 Mars store locations also will win a Hamilton Beach crock-pot and a Healthy Beef Cookbook.
