And The Winner Is...
As part of the checkoff-funded fall tailgating promotion with Sutter Home, Allison Dalton Griffin, Brighton, Mass., won the trip to the Beef and Wine University at the Sutter Home Winery in Napa, and a year of free propane from AmeriGas. This promotion drew more than 12,500 entries, in an effort that reminded consumers to "Invite the MVP (Most Valuable Protein)" to their tailgating parties and enjoy the value of protein-packed beef. All told, 114 retail locations participated. Moving forward, the beef checkoff continues to work with Sutter Home to teach consumers how to cook the perfect steak on a gas grill at Beef and Wine University.
