Nebraska Beef Scholars Summit
Recent requests for the latest information on pre-harvest safety research programs took Mandy Carr Johnson, PhD, executive director Research, Education & Innovation research, to Nebraska and Texas to conduct presentations to the Texas Cattle Feeders Association and the Nebraska Beef Scholars Summit. This was a great opportunity to highlight the vast amount of research and education that has been conducted with beef checkoff funds. Dr. Carr gave updates on recently developed safety interventions as well as an assessment of existing knowledge gaps.
