Cooking Things Up In Japan

A unique cooking contest for about 300 chefs at the prestigious Hotel Okura Tokyo centered on developing new recipes with U.S. beef in a variety of different cuisines. Funded in part by the beef checkoff, the Hotel Okura American Beef Cooking Contest featured 34 finalists cooking U.S. beef short plate and tenderloin in dishes ranging from Japanese and Chinese cuisine to Continental, French and Western. For the whole story, go to Cooking Contest in Japan.
