National Rice Month
To celebrate September as National Rice Month, the beef checkoff has partnered with four Riviana® rice brands. An insert featuring photos of steak kabobs will be dropped to 43 million households on Aug. 29. In addition, Executive Chef Dave Zino will prepare steak kabobs on "Flavors of America," a 30-minute cable TV show. The first week of September, the show will air on public TV, Comcast Cable and other broadcasting outlets in Dallas, Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton, New York (Manhattan, Bronx), Atlanta, Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.
