Educating The Influencers

"A Behind the Scenes Look: From Healthy Cattle to Safe Beef" was the title of a recent checkoff presentation given to the near 200 attendees at the Annual Meeting of the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) in Albuquerque, NM. NEHA members participated in educational sessions with a goal of impacting NEHA’s mission which is "to advance the environmental health and protection professional for the purpose of providing a healthful environment for all." In addition, a pasture-to-plate booth in the exhibit hall, manned by two New Mexico cattle ranchers, gave attendees an opportunity to visit with beef producers and discuss beef production, safety systems and any other beef related topic on their mind.
