Research Projects Completed
The 14 checkoff-funded Product Enhancement research projects selected for FY 2009 were completed on May 31, 2010 and are being reported this summer. Completed project summaries will be posted by the end of the summer on www.beefresearch.org. A total of 12 checkoff-funded Product Enhancement research projects were selected for FY 2010. One project of note is the 2010 National Beef Tenderness Survey, a benchmarking study completed every five years to determine average tenderness of beef products in retail and foodservice operations across the country. These 12 projects will be completed by May 31, 2011.
