Stockmanship & Stewardship
The Stockmanship and Stewardship Program Open for Scheduling -- This program provides education about low-stress cattle handling in a demonstration based environment. Aimed at enhancing profitability through sound management practices, the program emphasizes practicality, alignment with Beef Quality Assurance principles, and protocols designed to demonstrate that participants in the beef industry are good stewards of the animals under their care.
Events can be scheduled by contacting Tom Field. Program support comes from the beef checkoff, Land O' Lakes Purina Feed, Priefert Ranch Equipment, Tru-Test Inc., Miraco Livestock Water Systems, Mid-Continent Supplements and Merial.
