Beef. For Earth Day.

April 22 will mark the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, and once again, national and state checkoff staff will work together to shine a light on America's cattle farmers and ranchers and their environmental practices. This year’s Earth Day campaign, which builds on the success of last year’s efforts, highlights the diversity of environmental practices cattle farmers and ranchers across the nation employ. Elements of the campaign include national traditional and social media outreach; messages; fact sheets; beef producer tools, such as letters-to-the-editor and Facebook/Twitter posts; and state tools such as Earth Day print and magazine advertisements and state news releases. Be sure to watch www.ExploreBeef.org beginning April 1 for beef and environment information leveraged online around the Earth Day holiday.
