Test Kitchen Is Moving
The checkoff’s culinary services team is on track to complete transition of the checkoff’s test kitchens from Chicago to the Denver area by early December. This is expected to be a temporary arrangement until completion of plans for a new Beef Innovation Center, possibly at the same location -- the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association offices. As envisioned, that center would include a fully functional foodservice kitchen, as well as consumer stoves, ovens, and microwaves. With that, the checkoff would have the capacity to conduct recipe testing, product testing, recipe development, catering, product demonstrations, and meet all other needs of internal and external customers.
