Beef checkoff communicators recently had the chance hear firsthand about the frontline response to H1N1, via a Webinar featuring a National Pork Board presentation about that industry’s approach to the crisis and key lessons from the outbreak. The Webinar offered tips and best practices realized from the crisis – providing valuable insight for beef checkoff’s crisis-preparedness efforts. The national beef, pork and dairy checkoffs worked together through the FMD Cross-Species Communicators Team to bring this Webinar to more than 150 state and regional species partners.
