A lifelong farmer, Ronnie runs a cow-calf and backgrounder operation in Greenfield, Tennessee, in addition to farming corn, soybeans and wheat. He was nominated to the Cattlemen's Beef Board by the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association and has also served the industry through the Tennessee Beef Industry Council, the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation, and the Weakley County Farm Bureau. He earned his bachelor's degree in agriculture from the University of Tennessee. Ronnie also is a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.
