Jim and his wife, Jody, run a cow-calf operation in Osteen, Fla. Jim was nominated to the Beef Board by a caucus of four organizations, including the Florida CattleWomen, the Florida Farm Bureau Federation, Southeast Milk, and the Florida Cattlemen's Association. He is active with industry organizations, including his service as a state director for the Cattlemen's Association and as a county director for the Farm Bureau, and has been in the cattle business all of his life.
