Al is owner and manager of O-L-O Ranch, a cow-calf and yearling operation in Hyannis, Neb., and was nominated to the Beef Board by the Independent Cattlemen of Nebraska and the Nebraska Farmers Union. He has served as an officer of the Independent Cattlemen of Nebraska and has also been active with Nebraska Farm Bureau, Nebraska Farmer's Union, the U.S. Cattlemen's Association, and the Sandhill Cattle Association. Al also operates a pay hunting operation on his ranch and manages two family corporations. He has been actively involved in his community, serving on school boards in the region for more than 30 years, including current service as president of Hyannis High School Board of Education.
