Mike raises cattle and timber on 1,200 acres in southwest Mississippi. He primarily runs a cow/calf operation with some stockers and hay. He is active with the Mississippi Farm Bureau and is the current chair of the beef committee. He is married to Suezan, and is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
