Barbara is part owner of Red Rock Feeding Company, her family’s 30,000-head southern Arizona feedyard, founded by her parents in 1964. She earned her degree in animal science from Washington State University and previously worked as a sales representative, national accounts coordinator, director of advertising and public relations, and Western sales manager for Syntex Animal Health. In 1989, she and her husband, Tim, founded Animal Health Express, Inc., which they still own and operate today. Barbara also has served as president of the Arizona Cowbelles and as Region VI director for the American National Cattlewomen (ANCW), serving as chair of the organization’s Animal Welfare Committee.
