Linda and her husband, Ray, are the fourth generation on the Gilbert Angus Ranch. The family corporation also includes son, Lloyd, and his wife Patty and their children. Linda was born and raised on ranches in western South Dakota and after finishing her degree in elementary education at Black Hills State University, taught fifth grade at the Harding County Elementary School. She has held numerous industry roles with the South Dakota Stockgrower’s Association, R-CALF, Black Hills Stock Show Foundation, Harding County Public Lands Council and Dakota Rural Action.
