Danni grew up on the Maher Angus ranch on the North Dakota/South Dakota border. She and her husband, Mike, farm and ranch near Keldron, S.D., and have four children, Bobbi, Bo, Bailie and Blaze. After completing an agriculture education degree in 1992, Danni taught junior high science and high school agriculture education classes for two years. She currently maintains a full-time position on the ranch as her husband’s business partner. She is involved with her church and coaches her children’s basketball teams. Danni and Mike were inducted into the Outstanding Young Farmers of America fraternity in 2009.
