Daniel Kniffen operates a cow-calf and seed stock operation near Spring Mills and is currently the assistant professor, Penn State University Cooperative Extension Specialist, beef. He received his Doctor of Philosophy from West Virginia University in animal science and Post Doctoral Associate degree from Colorado State University. Kniffen has extensive experience in teaching, ultrasound and micro computer and is a member of numerous boards, including the American Hereford Association, Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, Colorado Horse Park Advisory Committee and NCBA.
