Glenda Flora is originally from north-central Kansas, where she previously owned and operated Grass Valley Land & Cattle, a 400-head cow-calf operation that she still owns an interest in. Today, however, she and her husband, Sam, operate a 100-head dairy operation and a 200-head commercial beef business. Glenda is a member of Kansas CattleWomen, Kansas Farm Bureau, the American Angus Association, American Red Angus Association, and the Kansas Gelbvieh Association. In addition to their beef and dairy operations, the Floras grow wheat, corn, milo, alfalfa and soybeans.
