Bob Drake co-owned and operated Drake Farms – 5,000 acres founded by his father in 1943 – with his brother, Tom, for almost 40 years before scaling back in 2002 to run stocker cattle on wheat pasture. Bob attained the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army. He is a former president of the National Cattlemen’s Association and has been a member of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association since 1966. He also holds long-time affiliations with the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, the American Angus Association, the Oklahoma Angus Association and the Oklahoma Farmers Union.
