Jeff Clausen operates a feedlot and raises corn, soybean and alfalfa in Carson, Iowa. He is a graduate of Iowa State University and is a former crop consultant with Servi-Tech in Minden, Nebraska. He started farming and feeding cattle in Carson in 1987. He has been very active with the Iowa Farm Bureau, including service as county president, state voting delegate, state beef committee, and county treasurer, and is a member of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association.
