Laurie Bryant is an importer representative on the Beef Board, and serves as executive director and secretary for the Meat Importers Council of America (MICA). He holds a master’s degree in Agricultural Science from Massey University, where he majored in agricultural economics and marketing. Laurie was raised on a sheep and beef farm in New Zealand and served as an agricultural economist before being employed by Meat New Zealand in 1976 and managing its offices in North America and Europe for a decade before beginning with MICA in 2001.
