	DAVE BATEMAN 2008 Beef Board Chairman Dave Bateman is the 2008 Chairman of the Cattlemen’s Beef Board. He was nominated to the Board by beef organizations in Illinois and appointed to the Board by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture in 2000. Bateman owns 200 head of cattle, which he feeds on his family’s farm, established more than 100 years ago. He has served on numerous checkoff committees, including the CBB Executive Committee, and the Beef Promotion Operating Committee.
	LUCINDA WILLIAMS 2008 Beef Board Vice Chairman Lucinda Williams is the 2008 Vice Chairman on the Cattlemen's Beef Board. She is a 12th-generation dairy producer and farmer in Hatfield, Mass., on her family owned farm, which dates back to 1661. She was appointed to the Beef Board by the Secretary of Agriculture in 2004. Williams was very active during her first term on the Beef Board, serving on committees including the CBB Executive Committee, Operating Committee, and Evaluation and Information committees.
	DAN DIERSCHKE 2008 Beef Board Secretary/Treasurer Dan Dierschke of Austin, Texas, is the 2008 Secretary/Treasurer of the Cattlemen's Beef Board. A cow-calf producer and farmer, he was appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture in 2006. Dierschke has been active in a variety of beef industry organizations for many years, and as a Beef Board member has served on committee's including the Beef Promotion Operating Committee, International Markets Committee, and the CBB Audit Committee.
	TOM RAMEY Chief Executive Officer Tom Ramey is Chief Executive Officer of the Cattlemen’s Beef Board (CBB). He previously served 13 years as chief financial officer for the CBB, where he was responsible for all accounting and financial functions of the Board. Prior to that, Ramey was an audit manager with a major accounting firm and was director of operations and worldwide internal audit for an international software company.
