CBB Audit Committee
The purpose of the CBB Audit Committee is to work with independent auditors engaged by the Beef Board to ensure that its books and records, internal accounting controls and management practices assure the proper level of accountability. The committee’s chairman and members are Beef Board members and are appointed by the Beef Board’s elected officers.
Current members of the CBB Audit Committee are:

Responsibilities:
The CBB Audit Committee considers and recommends an independent audit firm for the succeeding year for approval by the Beef Board. Other responsibilities include:
- Considering and recommending any changes to the frequency of audits/reviews conducted by an independent audit firm.
- Meeting with auditors to discuss the audit procedures performed and the results thereof.
- Discussing any suggestions from the audit firm relating to improvements in the Beef Boards internal accounting controls and procedures.
- Presenting the results of the annual audit to the full Beef Board
- Considering the staff’s recommendations and resolutions of issues identified by the auditors.
