Joint Evaluation Committee

The purpose of the Joint Evaluation Advisory Committee is to measure program effectiveness in accomplishing industry goals, objectives, strategies and providing maximum return on producers’ investments. The evaluation process is essential for improving future programs, strengthening producer profitability and enhancing accountability to producers. This is an advisory-only committee, which brings together cattle producers from different segments of the industry to coordinate efforts and make recommendations to the Beef Promotion Operating Committee.

Responsibilities of the Joint Evaluation Advisory Committee include:

 

  • Provide a forum for effective interaction with all committees in order to communicate evaluation results.
  • Ensure evaluation results are funneled into all program areas for use in future program development.
  • Conduct audits of two to four projects per year.
  • Develop, recommend and present to the Operating Committee an annual Evaluation Plan and detailed budget.
